eMCee Killa, Manage, Skirmish & Conflix - Pieces (Single)

While the majority of the UK’s current wave of emcee's were still getting bottle-fed, eMCee Killa, Manage, Skirmish & Conflix were already making a name for themselves by shelling down stages, leaving debris and smouldering microphones in their wake and appearing on such cult classics as 2006’s “(Live) In Protest” 2010’s “Solitary Confinement” and 2012’s “Shame the Devil”

Collectively, they're able to boast Caxton Press, Chain of Command and Rhyme Asylum as part of their now etched in stone Hip Hop legacies but now members of the above crews have convened under the Lab79 brand to forge a new legacy in the scene and proudly presenting their new single:

"Pieces"

The track sees the four vicious lyricists go back to back over a brooding blend of icey, atmospheric keys and Angelo Badalamenti-esque echoing guitar licks that reverberate throughout the track, serving as the perfect platform for each emcee to showcase their prowess. This sparse but heavy, thudding beat is produced by label head honcho, Manage with the additional guitar by performed by Chris Le Hat.

The artwork and gritty, guerrilla style video was shot, directed & edited by the multitalented Jack Diggs and can be found below:
