With support from all of the major hip hop promoters, distributors, magazines and websites in the country, you can expect a steady flow of diverse releases, live showcases, videos and virals in the future from the artists on our roster. High Focus has one aim – to resurrect the legacy of UK hip hop.

Originally founded as a concept in 2006, by a group of disenfranchised teenagers from all sorts of backgrounds who assembled to form the notorious Children of The Damned crew - Blah has become one of the UK's most exciting and consistent independent record labels, boasting a cool line of clothing to go with the music.

YNR (Young N Restless) Productions is one of the UK's leading Hip Hop brands. It began as a collective of artists in the late 90's and was first established as a record label with the release of Jehst's "Premonitions" EP on limited edition 12" vinyl in 1999.

Low Life was owned by rapper and producer, Braintax (Joe Christie). Low Life came to an abrupt end in 2008 when Braintax announced his retirement and release of his last record; 'My Last and Best Album'. This came as a shock and disappointment to many UK hip hop fans. According to various sources, many of the artists signed to Low Life felt as if they had been ripped off/underpaid by Braintax - however Braintax stated in an interview, "There's been too much stress, mainly the large amount of b*****t you have to contend with when you run a record label. If you're not ripping people off then you're busy not trying hard enough to sell records that no one wants to buy." Low Life is seen today as one of the greatest UK hip hop labels of all time, and has a significant back catalogue of music.

Yogocop Records was founded in a basement bedroom in Brighton 2012, when a group of like minded producers and MCs decided to create a platform to promote their own music. The label was founded by just four artists: Benaddict, M.KOZI, Concept Of Thought & Cloud 9. Since then Yogocop has expanded and is currently working with acts such as NuphZed, Hank Hiller, Wun Drop, Mr Slipz, Bo Bribery, Vitamin G, Harvs & KLB, Kemastry Terry Tonks & Tom Yum.

Big Dada is a British independent record label imprint distributed by Ninja Tune. It was started by reputed hip hop journalistWill Ashon in 1997. It is best known for being the home of prominent British hip hop artist Roots Manuva, poet and playwright Kate Tempest, grime pioneer Wiley, rapper and designer DELS and Mercury Prize winners Speech Debelle and Young Fathers.
