Manage x Skirmish - With The Pen (Review)

As if either of these guys needed an introduction but for those who don't know - Two of the most underrated lyrical Heavyweights from the scene - Manage (CNT, Caxton Press) and Skirmish (Rhyme Asylum) come together after months of teasers to bring you a brand new single -

"With The Pen"

The track is built around some immensely dark, brooding and scarce production which has been painstakingly crafted by Manage to perfectly compliments the subject matter, setting the tone for these two razor sharp wordsmiths to trade bars over. Both Manage and Skirmish have really distinctive voices making them instantly recognisable on any track they're on but you don't really realise until you hear it first-hand how well both of their styles and voices mesh together and compliment the other perfectly, all rounded off nicely with legendary turntablist DJ Jazz T providing the cuts.

With these two having been in hibernation for so long, it was only a matter of time before they returned to show their dominance over these new-era emcee's.
