Composed entirely from dusty crates of Brazilian Jazz "BRAZiLL" is a treat for the mind and soul, helping you to escape the grey, depressing Winter we're currently in. You can feel the sun shining on your face and smell the distant aroma of cigar smoke hanging on the humid air as soon as you press play.
Zatoichi has an amazing ear for both digging and chopping samples and possesses a great talent for constructing intricate drum loops that kick like Pelé with snares that crash like Senna.
It's a bold statement to make an entire project by sampling a single genre but when it's done as well as this it's almost unnoticeable as there's a different mood and feeling for each cut on the project, nothing seems to blend into the background or get lost in the mix.
Highly recommended....2021has started off solid and looks to be another great year for G.O.T.M
